Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau  (-,L, D)

Leave Hanoi at 8am – there are many great photo opportunities along the way. On arrival, check in at Mai Chau Lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a fun buffalo cart ride to the nearby Thai villages of Pom Coong and Lac and see beautiful handicrafts weaved by the local artisans. Afterwards, take an excursion to the limestone karst cave attached to the Lodge. A team of local hill tribe people looks after the cave, formerly a military base. Return to your lodge to relax. After dinner, enjoy a traditional dance performance by the local Thai tribe. Overnight at Mai Chau Lodge

Day 2: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B, L,-)

After breakfast, you can join in a two hours cycling tour or trek through the beautiful valley of Mai Chau, visit the local market and chat with local hill tribes to learn about their daily lives such as planting rice, herding buffalos and building traditional houses. After lunch at the lodge, return to Hanoi. End of services
